Realistic Plant Study

This was a personal 3D project. The goal was to create some realistic plants in a naturally lit setting. I wanted to push the materials and have them read at both zoomed-out and zoomed-in macro-style shots. One of the technical challenges was to find a solution for the fuzz on the fuzzy plant. I managed to figure out some procedural methods to pull it off in Maya. Also getting the dirt to read accurately took a few iterations. I am happy with how the project turned out.
