These levels are part of a collaboration with Amazon Games and Lost Boys Interactive. I joined the Lost Boys co-dev team for New World from January 2024 to September 2024. Lost Boys had the opportunity to update the Cutlass Keys area of the map for the New World Aeternum release. These POI's were at a first-pass state when I took them over. As a world builder, my responsibility was to refine the player path, adjust the layout of the building structures, terrain sculpting, add set dressing according to the updated art direction, and optimization tasks such as adding foliage blocking volumes, collision tagging, and edits to maintain draw call limitations and hit framerate. All of my work was done within the New World game engine (a unique version of Lumberyard).
