This was some freelance work. I had the opportunity to work as a 3D artist for Weeks Till Winter, an indie strategy/world-building game developed by a solo creator. These materials were created for the game's terrain. The game has a pretty simple style. In-game, the materials utilize the base color and normal maps at a 512 resolution. The material also uses some techniques to blend the textures based on the elevation of the terrain. I created the base color, normal, roughness, height, and AO maps at an HD resolution. That way, the developer could utilize those maps later down the road should there be updates to the visuals. These were created in Substance Designer.
