Well In The Woods Vignette

This was a personal 3D project. My goal was to create a snapshot of a stylized environment composed in the Unreal Engine. I wanted the scene to have a sculpted handcrafted feel to it. All of the assets were created by me. The low poly meshes and UV layouts were done in Maya, I sculpted the high poly versions in Zbrush. Materials were created in Substance Painter. Tiling materials were created in Substance Designer. I had a lot of fun with the lighting, and I tried to contrast warm and cool colors throughout the scene. The stylized look of Zelda BOTW and Overwatch along with the aesthetics of films from Studio Ghibli inspired the project.
